Next Play Day

What is it?

A play day is a single rehearsal that is open to all (orchestra members and non-members) with a final run-through at the end.  The intention is to explore the music and typically to learn a new technique or style of playing.

Play days are relaxed affairs with no formal concert to build up to.  The emphasis is on having fun and learning something new.  In addition to orchestra members, we typically have some players that come for one play day and some that are members of other orchestras that regularly attend our play days only.  It’s also a great way to try out the orchestra if you are thinking of joining.

Sorry, no play day organised for the Winter 2018 term.  Please check back after Christmas.

The cost for participating is £30 (£25 concessions).
